I’m in my Oakland office Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. My fee for a 50 minute session is $170/meeting. If you are in need of therapy and my fee is out of reach, please visit my Resources page (here). I may also be able to help you find a therapist who is able to offer a lower rate.
If you’re considering scheduling an appointment but aren’t sure yet, I offer a free, initial 10-minute phone consultation so that you can get a sense of whether I’m a good match for you or your teen. Similarly, I will be forthright if I think you would be better served by a clinician with a different specialization or different type of therapy.
I have a 48 business hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee.
I currently accept Medicare insurance.
While I don’t take other insurance at my Oakland practice, it may be possible for you to be reimbursed by your insurance company if they cover out-of-network providers. Please call your insurance provider to find out 1) your deductible and 2) what percentage of the fee they will reimburse to you. This option can make therapy with me more affordable.
